Please review the items that apply to your scheduled work. Your estimate or appointment instructions may include additional requirements for your property.
Before we arrive
- Move vehicles away from the driveway and work areas. Where possible, leave nearby parking available for our service vehicle and equipment.
- Confirm that an outdoor water supply and, when requested, a suitable electrical outlet are available.
- Unlock required gates and let us know about access codes, parking restrictions or areas that must remain available to occupants.
- Secure pets and keep children, visitors and occupants clear of active work areas.
- Identify sensitive landscaping, outdoor electronics, cameras, outlets or other items that may require special attention.
House washing and roof care
- Close and latch all windows and doors securely.
- Move mats, furniture, barbecues, planters, decorations and other belongings away from the building. A clearance of approximately 10 feet is helpful where space permits.
- Keep people and pets indoors or well away from the active cleaning area, and follow any directions provided by the crew.
Driveways, patios and walkways
- Remove vehicles, hoses, mats, furniture, planters, shoe racks and other movable objects from the surfaces being cleaned.
- Keep access routes clear for hoses and equipment.
- Avoid walking through wet or active cleaning areas until the crew confirms they are safe to use.
Gutter cleaning
- Clear movable objects and, where practical, branches that could obstruct safe ladder or roof access.
- Stay away from ladders, roof-access points and marked work areas while equipment is set up.
- Tell us about known drainage, downspout, roof-edge, gutter, gutter-guard or fascia concerns.
- Some properties may require a temporary fall-protection anchor. If required, the installation, removal and sealing of related penetrations will be discussed as part of the service plan.
Items that cannot be moved
Please tell us before the appointment about heavy, fixed or delicate items that cannot be moved. If an item prevents safe access, we may need to leave that area untreated. Moving and returning customer belongings is not automatically included in the service scope and may require additional time or an agreed additional charge.
Existing property conditions
Exterior cleaning does not repair existing wear, damage or construction defects. Please point out known concerns before work begins so they can be considered when the service is planned. Cleaning can also make a previously concealed condition easier to see once dirt or buildup has been removed.
Conditions that are helpful for us to know about include:
- Loose, aged, cracked or damaged siding, trim, screens, windows, frames, seals or glass.
- Existing cracks, chips, surface wear or unstable areas in concrete, pavers, driveways, patios and walkways.
- Leaks or failed seals around windows, doors and other building openings.
- Previously blocked, damaged or poorly draining gutters, downspouts and drains.
- Loose or damaged gutter guards, fascia, roof shingles, fasteners, hanging hardware or related components.
- Outdoor cameras, lights, outlets and other electronics that are damaged, unsealed or unable to be moved from the work area.
- Existing damage to vehicles or other property located near the work area.
When useful, HydroJet may photograph visible conditions and work areas before service. These project-record photographs help document the starting condition and completed work.
Project photographs and privacy
We may take before-and-after photographs for service records and, with appropriate permission, for our website, Google Business Profile or social media. We avoid including personal information and identifying details where practical. If you do not want your property used in public-facing photographs, please tell us before service.
Payment
Unless different arrangements are shown on your accepted estimate, payment is due when the service is complete. Payment may be made through the online link sent to you or using the payment methods confirmed for your appointment, which may include Visa, Mastercard, cash or cheque.
Questions before your appointment?
Call 778-767-3939 or email info@hydrojetpressurecleaning.ca. We would rather clarify a preparation item beforehand than leave an area inaccessible on the service day.
Your accepted estimate, confirmed scope and property-specific service instructions take priority over this general checklist. Those documents also govern service limitations and responsibility for existing property conditions.
